These helplines are for household goods, food and essential items and financial support during the response to COVID-19. 
- Te Ranga Tupua Collective Iwi Response - for help, advice and support for whānau in the Whanganui, Rangitīkei, Ruapehu, Mōkai Pātea and South Taranaki Region - 0800 202 004

- The Government Helpline - for people who aren’t sure who to talk to - 0800 779 997. Open 8am-5pm, 7 days a week
Financial support
- For existing MSD clients or NZ residents needing financial support please ring Work and Income on 0800 559 009. Open 7am-6pm (Monday - Friday) and 8am-1pm (Saturday).
- Foreign nationals who do not qualify for other support can still access support through CDEM Groups – contact them through the Government Helpline.
